~~ We're Moving~~

I'm so excited, we are moving! This is our little houseboat docked in Walnut Grove. We've had it for two years and it's just a fun get-away...kinda like a little cabin in the mountains, but on the water. I don't even care if we start the motor, I just enjoy sitting on the deck relaxing, watching the world go by, reading, stitching...you get the idea. Carl just likes to set a pole out and see what he can catch. We are moving it to a marina that's just 15 minutes from our home. What I'm really thrilled about is we will have electricity and running water....I love it. I'm already thinking about a little tree and Christmas lights for the houseboat.
This a view of part of the marina from the levee. Our spot is.......
between the two outside boats. We are moving next week...can't wait! Hugs, Linda

Now, let me get this straight... you are moving from your house to your houseboat? Or you are moving your houseboat to somewhere else that is closer to your house? Whichever it is, you houseboat looks like fun.

How exciting to have this little hideaway. I know how much I love Cranberry Cottage so can understand how you feel. I hope you will share photos of your decorating it for the Christmas holiday? I would love to see it.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

What fun to own a houseboat. I always thought it would be fun to rent one for vacation. That sounds like a good move. So close to home you can go often. Great.

That is so great, you will be able to get electricity to your little house boat! Sitting there reading sounds like great relaxation to me.

How lucky that you can enjoy your houseboat year round...over here, people have to put their houseboats in storage at the marinas before the lakes freeze over. I love walking at the marina in the summer time and seeing all the various houseboats and admiring the way people decorate them:-) Looks to be a beautiful spot where you'll be moving your houseboat to!! xoxo

Happy new address. I know that area and it is so pleasant. It will be nice to be closer to home.

I'm sure you have a heater since it isn't too pleasant for sitting deckside just now.

Fun to have two places to decorate.

I'd like the being near the water but I have so much trouble with motion sickness, I would be miserable just sitting there. Have fun.
