Well now......

I know for sure this is Queen Anne's Lace....thank you for the sweet comments and helping to solve the mystery, and look...... Mildred mentioned you can even put food coloring in the water and color the blooms. I added red and now I have pretty pink lace. How cool is that? Tonight is stitching and we are working on a couple of pieces. Eerie Halloween...
this is a fun piece and I'm using all DMC floss on 32count linen, I have no idea the name of it. We are also stitching.....

Free Bird, now this one we're using Crescent Colors and my fabric is 30count French Vanilla....this is only the third time for me stitching on linen, I'm a little slow but I'm loving it. Happy Days and Hugs to you, Linda

~ Happy Weekend ~

I just picked these pretties at a little creek near us. They are just so light and lacey, the little blooms kind of remind me of snowflakes. I think these are called Queen Ann's Lace....not sure. Do you know?
It is a lovely day today and the same is predicted for Sunday, Father's Day. We're having a bar-b-que tomorrow and Carl requested burgers, dogs and his favorite macaroni salad.....brownies and ice cream too....yum. Wishing everyone a happy day and a wonderful Father's Day....hugs, Linda

Wow........

I can hardly believe it's been over two weeks since I last posted. I wish I could tell you I've been on a wonderful vacation but truth be told I've just been away from my computer. Doing nothing really special just day to day living. Besides doing my regular household routine and naturally grocery shopping we had a huge garage sale that took forever to get ready for. I sold stuff that at one time I thought was wonderful...I don't know what I was thinking, LOL. What I didn't sell I donated, I only kept a few decorative plates, actually I'm still in the process of donating and tossing, I tell you it's feels so good de-cluttering. Don't get me wrong I still love peddlers fairs but I'm not buying with the idea of finding a home for the little treasures, I have to know what I'm going to do with it.

Had lunch with Jeanie, Sharon, Marcia, Susan and Janice, my high school friends, lots of sharing and laughs, we are going to try for a day trip to San Francisco this summer. Doesn't that sound fun?

Lisa and I saw Sex In The City 2...lots of fun fashion and shoes but I thought it was kind of raunchy in a couple of different places. We also saw Letters To Juliet....LOVED it. If you've seen either of these films I'm wondering what you thought of them? Have you seen any good movies?

As I mentioned I'm still going to a peddlers fairs. Recently there was one in the quaint little town of Auburn, besides the fair sellers they have some great little antique shops too. I found this darling little green cast iron vase with it's own little frog.

as soon as I spotted it I knew it would be perfect to hold some of my scissors....

I love it! Well, that's most of my news.....I have lots of visiting and catching up to do, it may take me awhile but I'll be by for a hi, hi....until then, hugs, Linda
