~Gobble~~Gobble~

Happy Monday morning! Today is going to be just a beautiful day...cold and crisp, perfect for November. I've finished setting all my little Toms and Hens out. Let me show you the ones on the side-boy......please click on any of the pictures for a better look. Placed in the center of the side-boy is this milk glass plate. I found it last year and just fell in love with it. Can you see the sun filtering through it? It looks so pretty.
I tucked lots of little turkeys in among the Moonstone. These three turkeys are very old. The tiny one in the center is made from lead and the other two are paper mache. Did you notice one is a candle holder?

I have lots of turkey salt and pepper shakers....aren't these just the brightest?
I love this pair....sometimes I use these at Christmas. See the little one behind them.....it is yellowish, reminds me of a rainbow. Carl found him and his sister at a garage sale this year. Someone had made them and he knew I'd love them...and I do.
Here is another pair...Carl found these years ago. I just love, them very simple but pretty pink coloring. As you can see I have all sorts of turkeys in my collection, old and new alike but special to me. Lots more are coming later this week....hugs, Linda

Oh Linda, I love your turkey collection! I adore turkeys and needs to set some of mine out. The pair that you say you sometimes use at Christmas is beautiful.

It's a wonderful sunny day here in Florida as well...just a bit cooler than usual and no humidity...love that!

You have a wonderful collection! I love them all! I really love that great plate, I need to find me one like that. Turkeys are hard to find. I found a few this year and I found a few pilgrims too.

Everything looks beautiful!

Such cute, cute turkeys...you have them displayed so cute.

How do you display all your aprons? I only have the one and sure don't want to put it in a drawer somewhere...guess I'll do the hook thingy for now...but, when I get more aprons, I may have to change it....
love, bj

Your fall decorations look so pretty. I am ashamed to say that my turkeys are still in the garage and the ghosts are still in residence inside. I'll have to switch them out before Thanksgiving!!

Thanks for sharing your turkeys. I have a pair of salt & pepper shakers I bought from Avon years ago. They are plastic, I believe. Seeing yours reminded me of a plaster of paris one that I painted when in elementary school. I still have to finish a couple of my felt ones.

Your turkey collectables are lovely!

You bloggers in the US have some very good excuses for themed decorating at this time of year!
