Puttering
For me , today has been perfect. I've been doing what I love most.....puttering. Yes, puttering, I love changing my little collections around and just enjoy decorating. I've just finished setting Halloween out and I think I'll leave everything as is, well maybe. The following quote is a favorite of mine.
"Puttering is really a time to be alone, to dream and to get in touch with yourself.....To putter is to discover". A. Stoddard
Try puttering and discover yourself.......Linda

Linda,
I love your mantle display. The banner is simply adorable. I have to agree, I love days when I can just be with "my stuff" and putter.
So glad you had a great day..
Michelle
Please putter at my house. Thank you.
Good for you...
I love to putter to but lately no time!
Priscilla
I wish I could sneak in a few 'puttering' days! Always something going on.
I am a putterer, I putter all the time. I get a lot done when I putter and nothing makes me happier than to putter when no one is around. There I admit it, I feel much better.
I like to putter in the garden too.
I love your Halloween banner, I am banner crazy! Thanks for visiting me at my blog.

Love your mantle!!
I love the name of your blog. That is one of my favorite movies. Jayne Seymour and Christopher Reeve. I'm so glad you visited my blog.
I am going to make a list of celebs I've met. Everyone keeps asking me.
Where are you in California? I am in Thousand Oaks.
Have a great day!

I putter too! Always changing things around. I love how you arranged your mantel!!! Very cute. We have similar white vases, too. USA?
In reply to your comment, YES Lois is the best! I haven't visited them in awhile, but when I go in it is like having been there just the day before. They always remember my name, which shows that they really do care about their customers.
Happy stitching and do share when you are finished!!

Becky
Puttering is indeed a blessing... Polly
Puttering is one of my favorite past times!
Ah, yes, puttering. I posted about puttering quite some time ago, and about my realization that it is the reason why my husband and I are often late or rushing to things, and the reason why we get a lot of little things spiffed up but not a lot of big projects done. We both love to putter and end up puttering our time away! Blissful!

Linda,
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I love meeting new people.
Your mantle is so lovely. I just recently took down a mirror from on top of mine. Yours is a MUCH nicer mirror and mine didn't look at all as good.
I love to putter around the house. And that quote is just perfect!
Come back again!
Love,
Julie
