~ Stitching News ~

Last night was our SAL (stitch a long) and the first evening to work on A Quaker Christmas. This is such a wonderful piece and we are all excited to be beginning it. Due to unforeseen circumstances we actually weren't able to get together last night so we all started on our own....
Everyone started in a different spot and we are all working at our own speed....as I mentioned before, the third Wednesday of the month, as a group, we'll stitch AQC and then spend three hours each week stitching on it. We still plan to work on a separate project too. We are nearly.....
finished stitching Yule Christmas, just two more lines and then on to another project. As of now we have no idea what to do next.
Well I'm off to fix lunch and do a bit of visiting and then some stitching. Hugs and a happy day to you....Linda

I haven't done any stitching since we moved the rest of the "stuff". I want to get my studio tidied so I don't feel guilty playing in there. Of course it isn't really playing, just not "real work". Its been several weeks now and my fingers are itching to get back to my cross stitch. I might pick it up this evening.
I like all of the pieces you're doing. Is the Quaker Christmas going to be all black?

Just coming by to say hey! I tried the stitching once and just not my cup of tea...... but yours is very nice and good for you.. I have a very nice kit that I bought on my honeymoon almost 10 years ago now that is still in the package.. Our wedding theme was two become one and this cross stitch kit is a beautiful chapel with the words two become one! Soooooooo I guess one of these days I should do that! Maybe in another 10 years........

Thanks for the comments. I went to reply and realized I don't have your email. Anyway, I did pick up my cross stitch last night and worked on it a while. It is a challenge sometimes with Smokey wanting to get in my business.

What fun you ladies must have Linda. And the finished pieces are gorgeous. I ran into a lady this morning who had a heart rock under her cloche and guess who I thought of? :) Lynn

Hi Linda! Hey, we share the same birthday! Mine is July 28.. I will be 39....just kidding. I will be 56. We have been married 37 years on July 3. Tomorrow I move the hutch to the garage to start the painting process. I wish I had a painting "fairy"..
