We went to the Community Center and saw the award winning musical.......
The Lion King. It was wonderful! The costuming and pageantry is amazing and the music is just awesome. If you ever get the chance to see this play I hope you do...you won't be disappointed....hugs, Linda

That sounds like a lot of fun Linda. Happy to hear you enjoyed it.
We saw this in Memphis. You're right. I loved it. I always loved the music, have the soundtrack from the movie. I loved the way they enter the stage by walking through the audience. I'm so happy you enjoyed it. I want to see Phantom of the Opera if it ever comes to town again. Mama Bear
What memories this brings back. I have never seen a play of the Lion King, but when the Disney cartoon came out, my daughter was very young. She fell in love with that movie and had to have the talking stuffed lions for Christmas. She even named one of her kittens Simba. She has moved out of our nest, busy in the Navy, and everytime I hear Elton John sing this song, I get teary eyed remembering the little girl of long ago. Glad you enjoyed the musical! blessings,Kathleen

Wow. My friend also went last night and was raving about the production this morning. I guess it's only there for one more week.
