~ Ready For July 4Th ~

Did your weekend fly by? Mine sure did and it was a hot, hot, hot one. Last I heard Sunday was 108 and Saturday was a bit cooler 105. I did run a few errands but mostly I stayed in to read, stitch and decorate for the 4Th of July, which is a favorite of mine. This cute little flag wagon...I found last year at Goodiewill and I thought it would be perfect for my little patriotic bears....On the sidecar....

I just added touches of red and blue mixed in with my Moonstone. I thought this was...

just a fun picture. While trying to take a picture of the sidecar I captured this image of the sidecar in the mirror of a little hanging wall cabinet.....for some reason I really liked it.

Our living room hutch with just a little flag, and I just love this....
little drum Carl found at the Galt Wednesday market...It's just setting in a bowl with a little flag that was my Dad's. Is anyone else decorating for this holiday? Only a few more day until we celebrate......hugs, Linda

You are all decked out for 4th of July and it all looks wonderful Linda! Will you be BBQing for the holiday?

It is very hot here too now but I hope it does not last long! I am not a fan of summer heat. Already, I long for autumn...

I have never decorated for the 4th.. Guess I should do that one of these days..... Your red, white & blues are soooooooooo pretty........

Happy Freedom Day....... We need to raise our voices to the Lord in praise for what HE has done and what HE will do for our great land..... If we would only pray

It all looks so beautiful. That picture in the mirror is a real treasure - I LOVE that!

Usually I just decorate the mailbox and make a patriotic centerpiece for the table. I'm in the mood to make a pound cake and serve strawberries and blueberries with it too!

Enjoy the week.

Hi Linda,
I don't have 4th decorations...guess I need to visit my local thrift store. Hubby and I don't do much for that day...shame on us!! Maybe this year we will go watch fireworks somewhere.

I just love the way you decorated for the 4th of July!! That little wagon with the bears and flags is just so precious. We celebrate the 1st of July here which is Canada Day but I've never decorated the house for it. xoxo

How very ready you are now, friend. Really pretty settings/touches. DH puts out flags all around our many gardens edges & keeps our huge flag up daily. TTFN ~ Marydon

Hi Linda, I love what you have done with the red, white and blue. I really like your banner too. I don't do a whole lot of 4th decorating. I have a patriotic man (he was at the tea party) that sits in a chair on the front porch from Memorial Day to Labor day. And I have flags in the bike basket and flowers. I am having lots of family for a 4th of July bbq and will have a flag as a runner on the food table and red, white and blue fresh flowers. Oh yeah, and flag cupcakes too. You have a wonderful holiday. :) Lynn

Oh Linda, I just love your things...lovely! I made my laundry room the red, white and blue room because I had so many patriotic things that I display year round scattered all over the house...I gathered them all up and they make a much greater impact when grouped together.

We are enjoying mild temps in the 70's...I love it.

Robin

Just loved how you decorated! We got some wonderful rain the past two days, bringing us down from 107 to 80 degrees! What a relief! Hope it cools down for you! Blessings,Kathleen
