~ Anticipation ~

Good morning to you. I've been watering and pulling a few weeds and I just had to show you all the....... little flowers on one of my tomato plants. I can hardly wait for my own tomatoes....they just taste so much better than store bought. The first thing I'm going to make is a tomato sandwich....fresh white bread, light mayo and sliced tomato....yummy. If you've never had a tomato sandwich you really must try one...you won't be disappointed...hugs, Linda

I picked my first tomato of the year yesterday. A tomato sandwich sounds good for lunch! I planted roma tomatoes. Maybe that is why mine are earlier?

We have some blooms on ours, too..and one tomato. We are using the Topsy Turvey Upside Down planters this year. Wonder if they will really work..stay tuned on my blog as I am posting progress of them...

We just bought 4 large tomatoes at a little fruit/veg stand - Nalley loves tomato sandwiches in the summertime!

I love tomato sandwiches, homegrown are the best. I thought about a potted tomato plant, but so far, I haven't done one.

We have some little green tomatoes so hopefully by the first of July...I love having BLTs and we'll be having those on Friday nights as soon as the tomatoes are ripe. I can hardly wait.

I love a tomato cheese sandwich, with the mayo of course. Picked my first cherry tomato yesterday. So small we had to cut it in half. Half a cherry tomato is not much!
Did it rain at your house today?

Good for you ! I have grown my own garden this year and am loving it.. I am going to have a real garden this fall. We just have to figure out how to keep the deer out!

Here is to fresh tomatoes with perfect lettuce and a slice of cucumber, all grown by our dainty little hands........(Well maybe mine is not so dainty)! But they are mine!

Sending hugs
