~ The Weekend ~

Good morning...and it is. The sun is shinning and it is going to be a beautiful day. This is a favorite time of day for me...the house is still quite and all the kitties and Lily have had their breakfast. It really doesn't matter what day it is my little internal alarm clock wakes me up early each morning...but that's okay. After I feed all my little sweeties I grab a cup of coffee, get all comfy and stitch for about an hour and then I love to read and today was no exception.... I just finished Friendship Cake and really enjoyed it. It got off to a slow start but then I got to know the ladies and thought of them as real people. This book has a wonderful message of faith and true friendships...and I'm looking forward to the sequel, Garden of Faith.

Well, I must get busy..Lisa and I have lots of little errands to run and then we are having lunch at the Hof Brau. Tomorrow is the WX Peddlers Faire (already)...I'm going to look for tiny things. Remember to turn your clocks forward tonight...I wonder how my alarm clock will handle that......happy weekend to all...hugs, Linda

Hi:
It sounds like you had a very good start to your day. I am trying to read a series in the middle of all the other things I am doing. There are not enough hours in a day.

It's been beautiful the past few days, here in Missouri, too. We had 80 degrees yesterday and 70's today. I can feel spring in the air.

I wonder if you woke an hour later.

Have you read "The Ladies of Covington" series?

I wish I were a morning person.

I brought my cross stitch with me and last night dropped my needle. I never did find it. I'm so glad I brought a spare.
