~Hi Hi ~

Look at that gray sky.....it's getting darker by the minute and will be raining shortly. For the past week we have had rain every single day, and more is in the forecast. I really haven't been doing much this past week, kinda staying in just puttering, reading, watching some good movies (Netflicks) and stitching. Last night was our SAL and look at these beautiful.......
Calla Lillies Michelle brought me. Aren't they pretty...I love this flower....plus she made the most delish chocolate cake for us. It had a fudge like frosting, and I tell you it was to live for....ooh so good. I have to have the recipe. Believe it or not after catching up on all the latest news we did get a lot accomplished last night....

Bless Our Home is a sweet stitch....this is the first time I've used Crescent Colours thread and they are so nice to stitch with. I think the house color Blue Moon is pretty...actually all the colors are very pretty.
Well, everyone has left, time to turn the lights out until next week. Oh, wait just one quick peek at the charts I bought at The Elegant Stitch.

I'm not sure which one I'll work on first...I'm thinking the one of the little couple. I wonder if I can get that finished by my anniversary? I think I'll give it a try.......hugs, Linda

Crescent Colours are my all time favorite overdyed fiber. Just lovely!

Rain, rain, and more rain. Did you see a rainbow today about 4? Movies sound like a good thing to do on such a day, since I don't stitch.

The calla lillies are beautiful. I love your items to be stitched and the one you are doing now. To answer your question, I always use two strands of DMC. Thats what I used on my Stars. Thanks for the nice comments.

You picked some lovely charts to work on. Have fun choosing the next one, that is what stitching is all about.

God bless.

How fun that you get to stitch with your friends. I'd probably talk so much I wouldn't get anything done!
I have Netflix too. I watched The Secret Life of Bees last night. It was so good.

Funny thing. Last night I had a dream that I was stitching. Threads all over the place.

I don't know about you, but I really enjoyed all the rain we had. I'm hoping for more :0). God knows how much we need it.
I also find I drink more hot tea on a rainy day. Just noticed that one. lol!
Anyway, I tagged you! I hope you'll be able to participate. Check Friday's post.
Hugs and have a great weekend!

The Calla Lillies are beautiful Linda.

Looks like you're stitching a pretty new piece. It will be fun to see it when you finish.

I'm going to be posting the winner/recipient of the book passing this evening.

Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Andi
