~~Our New Stitch~~

Monday was our first get together since the holidays and as the saying goes we were itchin to get stitchin. Besides getting this stitch under way we've already decided on our next two projects. The first one is by CCN...called "Bless Our Home." We thought it looked very Americana with a wonderful patriot theme. Don't you just love Old Glory and the sweet star above the door? The second project we decided on is A Quaker Christmas, by ByGone Stitches.....it's an amazing piece and for me, rather ambitious. As soon as I get the chart I'll post a picture of it. Well, I do have a tad bit of homework and I think I'll spend the afternoon stitching. It's cold and gray here with rain in the forecast.....a perfect time to stitch......hugs, Linda

Wow! I love both new projects but the Quaker Christmas would take me years to do! So nice that you have a group to cheer you on!

Hi Linda!

your stitchwork is FABULOUS! I'm so impressed with it!! I haven't done needlework for a long time. It's so nice to sit and work on a piece. Thanks for stopping by for a cup of tea! Hope you enjoy my orange tip.

Big hugs, Sherry

Your new stitching is great! It is so fun to get together and stitch or quilt with others. I just had a blogger here today and did a high tea for her. You can see it on CTS. I have seen A Quaker Christmas before and love it to bits. I have been tempted to buy it and might on the couple of breaks from my stash diet I will have in 2009. I am going to allow myself to order a new chart twice this year. :)

Hugs ~
