~ Friday This And That ~

It's cold and rainy today......a perfect this and that day. Stitching homework finished......this is going very quickly. I think we'll be finished before Valentines Day. When stitching, do you use a needle threader? I do. This is my favorite style. I have three just in case. You know how it is when you find something you like and then it's discontinued......well, I'm not taking any chances......Started
a Valentine craft project. I love the fabrics with the heart designs I was in a Valentine swap last year and the fabric is from my partner, Elizabeth.
Finished reading Knit Two and really enjoy it, in fact I'd love to see the series continue with a third book. Starting a cozy mystery, Busy Bodies by Joan Hess. I've never read any of her books but she is supposed to be good...have you read any of her books?
Happy weekend, hugs, Linda

Glad you found a fun project. Love rainy days for that reason. I did not cry to hard when the Eagles crash landed. They are famous for that. The Steelers will go all the way!

Hi Linda! I sent you an email about the Valentine.
You always are working on such fun projects, what do people do with no hobbies?? How sad would that be?
The BnN sale just started and I found 2 books for $1.24 each! Go if you get a chance.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, mine will be mostly work.
Hugs,
Michelle

Valentine's Day is always so special. Your Valentine craft project is great. I was just looking at Valentine fabrics this week. They really have a wide assortment. Your needle threaders are very nice.

It will be fun to see your Valentine craft project Linda. The fabric is wonderful. A Valentine swap sounds like fun but I haven't discovered one thus far this year.

Your stitching homework looks lovely.

Happy Saturday! Hugs, Andi

Linda, Did you make the holder for your needle threader. I think I might not lose mine so much if it had a pretty holder like that. I have to admit I started the Friday Night Knitting Club and never finished it. I think I'll check it out at the library again.
I hope you're having a great weekend!

Yes, I use a needle threader. I've never seen one like yours but it looks like it would last a long time. Can you tell me where to buy one?
I've not read a book by either author. Book club chose some doosies this year. I bought the one for February, Loving Frank about an affair some woman had with Frank Lloyd Wright. Slow going. The next two I just couldn't buy after reading a little about them. I'm also reading Chronicles of Narnia starting with the first book. One of our selections(for May I think) was a Spencer mystery. I've not read any of his in a decade or more so I went back to where I left off and purchased the next one.

Hi Linda,
I haven't used a needle threader...I found one in the bottom of a sewing box that I bought at an estate sale awhile ago.
Can't wait to see the finished Valentine project. Pretty colors:)
