~ Cute Do-Dad And Dinner ~

Hi everyone. Hope your day has been nice. I had lots of little errands to run, took Lilly for a walk and have just been puttering around home. Look at this cute little do-dad my friend Michelle gave me. Do you have a clue what it's used for? Flowers...maybe, but we thought it would be perfect for my Bakelite flatware.
Carl found a whole service for six several years ago at the flea market. I love the greens and Carl's favorite color is red. Do you have a favorite?
How cool is this? I'm so glad my friend passed this cute do-dad on to me...I love it. Well, I need to start thinking about dinner, I'm fixing Paula Deen's country friend steak.....yum, yum. Have a happy evening, hugs, Linda

Linda,

Mom and I have one, we used it is an artist caddy. We made one in ceramics class and used it to carry and store our brushes and ceramic clean-up tools. When I find it, I will take a picture. I like what you are using yours for, very clever.

Oh Linda:
I like the orange. All of it is pretty though. That is the perfect holder for it too. Great find.

My mom used to have something like that while I was growing up. It sat on our kitchen table and she would use it for flowers, silverware, napkins, straws. The items were forever changing. Thanks for jogging a happy memory.
Your dinner sounds fab. I may have to look up that recipe. We have baked chicken w/rice and veggies last night :0)

Please visit my blog to see how much your PIF meant to me and how it arrived at just the right time. I wore my red hot scarf to work today and everyone remarked on it. I will treasure it forever! Thank you so much Linda. Best wishes to you and "Himself"
