It is....

a soggy Saturday here. We have had so much rain the past few weeks and more is forecast for every day next week. I think "Mother Nature" has forgotten that tomorrow is the first day of Spring. For me, I'm going to have a cozy weekend indoors...I'm going to finish J. Chiaverini's latest novel, The Union Quilters which I have thoroughly enjoyed. She is a wonderful author, I've read all her books and have never been disappointed. And then I have two cozy mysteries by Laura Childs........
waiting in the wings. Have a happy weekend and please send the sun my way...hugs, Linda

I wish I could blink my eyes and you would magically appear at my back door Linda! We are near 80 degrees here in GA. The sun is so warm and the trees/bushes are blooming. I have read some of Laura Childs' mysteries and love them. The other book sounds very good too. In fact, I have a blogger friend in Australia who might just love this book - I'll give her the link to your blog.
Have a cup of tea and enjoy your cozy reading time.

It's been fairly grotty here lately too although today has been glorious! Just how I like it, chilly but with fabulous sunshine.

Maybe you just need to move away from Sunny California to the Sunny South! We're having glorious weather -- at the moment. It could change any time, we've had snow in April and had to use heat in June, but anomalies are always short lived. We're enjoying what we have right now.

Oh I wish I was a reader. I devour magazines, but books, not so much! I hope the weather improves!! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Oooh, they look like good books! I have read all of Chiaverini's books, too, so must look for that latest one. I just finished "Room" by Irish author Emma O'Donoghue. I liked it better than I thought I would.

The Union Quilters is on my bookshelf..I decided to get the hard back instead of the Kindle version because I have all the other ones...I like the books about past best so I am looking forward to reading this one.
I've not read any by Laura Childs...Is she a good author?
