~ Little Pink House Is Finished ~

I'm so happy! I just finished stitching the Little Pink House....... by The Prairie Schooler. It is such a sweet stitch, rather than frame it I just put it in a little tuck pillow and I really like the way it turned out. The model was stitched on 14 ct. White Aida using DMC floss. I stitched mine on 14 ct Adia too, but I used a blush pink and DMC #3716 for my pink. I'm especially pleased the proceeds from the sale of this chart benefit the cause to find a cure for breast cancer.....this is so worthwhile.

When I went to the mailbox this evening I got the best surprise. I have been waiting and waiting for the Halloween edition of Just Cross Stitch. I haven't even peeked at it....
I'm waiting to enjoy it this evening...I'm going to take my bath now and get all cozy and then enjoy looking at all the new little stitchies......Night, night...hugs, Linda

I LOVE your pink house - that is adorable! When I could cross stitch, I loved to get a shiny, new magazine and savor each page. I know you enjoyed browsing through it last night. Thanks for sharing the great photo.

Wonderful finish on your pink house! I love it as a little pillow. And are you now going to join me in Halloween stitching??? What a fabulous magazine. I need some Halloween stitching company...

I found the French monogram book here in Holland and could get it for you but it will cost $85 total including postage to the US. I can arrange it for you if you want but it is still costly. Not as bad as the 2nd hand price you found though.

Hugs ~

You are the second person today who has said they got their magazine. It looks like a fun edition to look through. Happy stitching.
Your little pink house is just too cute. I love the way you tucked it in with your glass pieces.
I told Heidi, I liked your idea of ironing on the patio.

Well, I enlarge it and it is just the cutest thing.I I was able to finish outlining one of my blocks last night while watching Millionaire. I love any Trivia show.
This week, I have spent a lot of time on the Fall wall hanging. It is coming along nicely.
The time just flies by when I'm in the studio. I have so many ideas and things I want to try.
Enjoy your evening.
