~ Easter Dinner ~

We had a wonderful Easter...hope you did too. The kitchen is tidy and the dishwasher is humming away and I'm just about to have a cup of tea and an Easter cookie. We had a yummy dinner....we always have lamb on Easter and all our favorite dishes. I just found this pressed glass footed bowl and I love it for a salad bowl.
Deviled eggs are a must...Lisa makes the best.

Brussels sprouts for Carl, asparagus for all of us, plus mashed potatoes and gravy and of course lamb.
Oh my goodness....this was delish and what is great leftovers for tomorrow. Well I'm going to have my dessert......hugs, Linda

It looks so good and with the veggies and salad, so very good for you. I like the footed bowl. How did you cook the veggies? I've only had lamb once. I went to an ethnic restaurant with friends in Pittsburg. Don't remember the name. Anyway, I tried many different dishes that day. The friends were British and used to being out in all kinds of weather. We went to tour some gardens in a drizzle. Late lunch afterward. Anyway, lamb was not a food I grew up eating.
Your table looks great.

That is looks delicious Linda. Did you have company for Easter? Today is what the Dutch call 2nd Easter Day. We just finished our meal after a day out looking at the fruit tree blossoms. A perfect Easter day.

How wonderful everything looks like! Love the salad bowl. I have never tried lamb. In our part of the country beef and chicken are the standard. I'm not even sure if I can find lamb at the meat market. Glad you had a wonderful Easter! blessings,Kathleen

That sounds like a wonderful Easter dinner. I haven't cooked lamb in years and years.

Your meal looks delicious. It is sad to admit that I've never served lamb. It's my best friend's favorite meal so I should try it.

Happy belated Easter to you and yours, dear Linda:-) Oh my, your Easter dinner sure looked and sounded delicious. Would you believe I've never had lamb meat? I wanted to cook a ham but when I found out Corey was coming home, I had to cook a turkey because he doesn't care for ham! lol xoxo

Linda, your Easter feast looks like something you would be served in an upscale dining room.

God bless.
