This is one of my first hearts, it's filled with potpourri and was a gift from Lisa, many years ago.
This sweet little crocheted heart was from Tamsen, my Christmas swap partner a couple years ago. It is very special to me...a handmade treasure from the heart. Sadly, she is no longer blogging, I hope when she has a little more time she'll be back.
This ornament was designed by Christopher Radko.....it is named Brave Heart. He created it to honor and commemorate all the heroes of 9-11-01. All his profits from this ornament went to the relief fund of the Red Cross in the greater New York area.

That is a lovely heart tree. I just love the cozy look of a tree all lit up.

WOW! What a lot of hearts you have! And what a neat tree idea. Thanks for sharing all the pics of your heart-y decor!
This is such a beautiful tree. I want one for next year!
Oh Linda:
Heidi is going to love that tree, and so do I. I love the brave heart ornament. The last one does look like it is wearing a crown. The hand made things are always special.
I hope you keep showing the different ones up close.

What a sweet tree. And lucky you to have room for it year round! I enjoyed seeing that. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! You have an amazing collection of heart ornaments. Now you have given me the idea that I need to take my heart ornaments I use on my Christmas tree out new year and use them on my Valentine's tree next year. I have a couple I use at Christmas and the ones for Valentine's I have totally seperate. This collection must have taken you a few years to collect? I am glad you like February as most people say they don't like this month. It is my birthday this month. :)
Hugs ~

Love your sweet valentine heart tree!
What a fun idea, Linda. My mom had a tree that she used seasonally and would hang ornaments on. I had forgotten.

Hi Linda! I forgot to tell you why they are called penny rugs. They became popular during the Victorian times and woman would use a penny to cut the round shapes then used thus becoming a penny rug. We have, of course, made them into rugs with lots of various shapes now.
