~New's Years Eve and A New Magazine~

Tonight is New Year's Eve. How do you celebrate this special night? Sometimes I fix a special dinner, but tonight we're going to one of our favorite little restaurants and then home for movies and watch the activities on TV. Tomorrow we are having a family favorite dinner....breaded veal cutlets and all the trimmings. I have all the Christmas decorations down and we'll be taking the tree down on Friday...maybe tomorrow.
I've set out my New Year's postcards,I love reading the sweet messages that were sent to friends and family and that's all I do for decorating for this holiday. Well I need to get moving, I want to get my groceries before the store gets too hectic, and when I come home........
I' m going to take a peek at the new Country Living. Patty at Attic Clutter had a give away earlier this year....a 1 year subscription to CL and I was the lucky winner. My magazine arrived yesterday and I can hardly wait to enjoy it. I'll be by for a chat later today...hugs, Linda

Happy New Year Linda!! My tree is still up and I am in NO hurry to take it down. I am taking all day tomorrow to do what I want to do and work in my studio on new Valentine's things. I can't wait!! Tonight is just a relaxing evening and doing close to what you will be doing.
I have the same magazine I have saved to look at!

Linda,

Thanks for dropping in...always happy to have you come by...

We had an invitation to go out tonight but rather chose to stay home for a quiet evening....

Tomorrow our daughter and family will be here for lunch...the other daughter and family were here for Christmas but distance prevents them from being here New Year's....

Wishing you a blessed 2009...Betty

Happy New Year to you Linda.

This evening I decided to stay in with my parents and have dinner with them... I'm not a fan of NYE for some reason!

As for Barefoot Contessa, we get her tv show on Sky over here which unfortunately I don't have but do manage to catch the shows sometimes round friends who do subscribe.

Happy New Year, Linda. Hubby and I are home tonight - broiled some lobster tails and we may open a bottle of champagne, although he doesn't care for it and I can't drink a whole bottle of it. I always watch the ball drop in New York on TV.
