~ Christmas Tree~

Hi everyone. Are you ready for Christmas? I'm getting there.... I don't know about you, but for me there is just not enough hours in the day to get everything done that I want to do. We did get our tree up and decorated this weekend and I did something a little different. For a closer look you can click on any picture.
I love and collect vintage bead garland, but this year I just didn't want to decorate the tree with it, but I did want to put it out. What to do? I think Christmas ornaments look so pretty in glass containers so I thought why not put the garland in a large glass vase.

What do you think? I love it! I have to tell you when I first started putting the garland in the vase, I thought to myself, this is one of your crazier ideas, it's going to be a tangled mess to get out, but I put it in carefully and I'll just be careful taking it out. Until then we'll enjoy it.
Be seeing you soon....hugs, Linda

Very cute! They look so pretty! You also might try mixing the beads with some small glass balls, it looks super cute too! I put my vintage glass beads on the tree and I just love them, but they are a pain to get on and off the tree. Your tree looks so beautiful! Only one week left!

Hugs, Sharon

Oh Linda I love your tree I clicked on it to get a larger pic and it is just dreamy(:) the lace curtains in the background, the icicles, birds, santas..really lovely (:)
Yes Karen had lots of collections and she is so good at clustering them all together--that is the trick - makes them so much more striking..the beads in the jars are a cute idea(:)
thanks on my banner too (:) I don't know where I found that picture maybe a blog (:)LOL
or ebay..but it made a precious banner didn't it..
well back to look at all your Christmas pics.. big hugs, Patty

Your tree is beautiful. I love the ribbon you used on your vase too. Just leave the garland in the vase, store it for next year, and make your life easier. LOL.

Love the tree and the garland in the vase! I did that with Mardi Gras beads in my classroom last year. The kids loved them and knew when they reached goals they got to pull out a necklace! It was a great motivator!

Oh my gosh! That vase of vintage garland is one of the cutest things I have seen in ages!!! What a fun, nostalgic and cheerful thing to have. You won't regret it even if you have a few tangles. Unless you need that vase regularly, why not just leave it as is and store it carefully away for next Christmas. It is just so perfect. Your tree is so beautiful too! I love the traditional look trees and have mine that way too. Did you see it on my CTS blog?

I hope your coasters are there very soon. Now that I am seeing your things even more, I know I made the right choice for your fabrics. The set that went to Canada arrived already and think yours should too.

Christmas hugs ~
Heidi
