~Christmas Books~

Greetings everyone. Thank you for all the happy Christmas wishes...we had a lovely Christmas, hope you did too. I have been enjoying the past few days, actually basking in the after glow of Christmas, watching holiday movies and reading the beautiful books I received..... This is the sweetest book, filled with darling graphics and special sentiments.
Christmas Curiosities is very interesting and I love the book...but I have to tell you, Santa in the early 1800's was rather scary looking.....in many pictures he is rather devilish looking.
Oh, this is a book of heart warming Rockwell illustrations with wonderful hymns, poems and stories from contributors...such as Shakespeare, Mark Twain and Louisa May Alcott to name a few. All these books are wonderful additions to my Christmas library, I'll enjoy them for years to come.
Lisa gave me a novel, I'm so looking forward to reading, but first I have to finish the third book in The Ladies of Covington series. I'm enjoying this series....I read about it on someones blog (I wish I could remember who's) each book is most enjoyable. As soon as I finish the third book I'm reading.........
Knit Two. This is the second book in the Friday Night Knitting Club series....which for me ended on a sad note....I can't wait to see how everyone is doing. See you soon...hugs, Linda

Thanks for coming on over to my blog and leaving the sweetest comment about my tatted angel. I really appreciate it. Your Christmas books look wonderful! I have a little Christmas book collection, myself, but nothing new. I love the looks of that "Victorian Christmas" book! It looks delightful! Glad you had a nice Christmas! :)

What fabulous books you received, isn't it great after Christmas to snuggle down with all the books you've been gifted.

Hi Linda! They look like wonderful books!

My DH got me Stephen King's latest...I am a huge SK fan. I'm not into ghosts or anything but psychological thrillers just amaze me...LOL.

Happy reading.

Looks like a good book.I am waiting for the new book in Debbie Macomber's knit club series to come out in paperback, Twenty Wishes.

I don't know if you got the idea for the Covington series from me but I've read all of them. I love those ladies. There was a similar one I liked but it ended. I'll have to dig it out, maybe read them again.
Last week, Honey Bear had a couple of books he wanted from Amazon. He asked me if I'd order them for him. Of course, I had to add a couple for myself.

Those books look absolutely beautiful. I am glad that you are getting a bit of a rest from the hustle and bustle of the season.

Our sons have gone home now and the house is quiet. Guess I will have to get used to it all over again.

God bless.

I love the Ladies of Covington series! I heard about it years ago from an online friend and then got my mother hooked on them too. I have a little collection of Christmas books too and they are a joy to look at. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas? Did you find the perfect frame for the recipe yet?

Hugs ~
