~ Our New Stitching Project ~

It's our stitching get together tonight and we're starting a new project....The Garden of Eerie by Plum Street Samplers.. Here it is Easter time and we are starting a Halloween project, but you've got to plan ahead. This past weekend Lisa and took a little trip to...Placerville to visit Kelsey's for fabric and some other treats. This is a nice shop...

and the ladies there are so helpful. I love the fabric I found and my new scissors. I'll be using DMC floss since I'm going to just display this stitched piece at trick or treat time. Placerville is a neat little town and after getting our stitching things we poked around a bit. In one of the antique shops...

I found a tomato cushion, I wonder how it got that little water line. I really like things with a history, if only they could tell us their story. I'm not sure if this little black bunny likes it in her egg bowl....I think I'll need to move it soon. Lisa did a little Easter shopping and look......

at this little foil bunny she bought me. I love it and it really looks just so realistic...these seem to be new this year and they are so cute. Are you ready for Easter? Our menu is planned and I'm making a new yummy dessert which I'll share....just a hint there are strawberries in it....see you soon....hugs, Linda

HI Linda
Oh that tomato is so -so cute who cares if there is a water line(:) Love the eggs and foil bunny how cute~!! Glad you mentioned napkins I have six darling green cloth ones I got at Pier One an need to stick them into a cute jar or vase- they'll look like a bouquet since the edges are kinda scalloped.. then with them out I'll remember to use then for Easter.. not sure on the plans yet.. but kids will come by and maybe a dinner
`` I have some ideas on what I'll cook .. scallop potatos, BBQ'd chicken and salad, strawberry shortcake...etc.. so
time will tell-
I Wish you a wonderful Easter(:) hugs,Patty

Love the yummy colors and the linen!!! I don't know this design and am looking forward to seeing your progress. Now I am sure you know with me by now that I think you can never start too early for things you want to use to decorate with for any season.

We are off for a long weekend so I wanted to take a moment to wish you a very Happy Easter!

Hugs from Holland ~

Hi Linda, I bought one of those fake foil bunnies and just love him. You are working on Halloween and I am working on Christmas right now. It's really hard for me to do that. I have my Easter dinner all planned out and my easter company is bringing the dessert. She said it is something orangey and choclate....yum yum....can't wait! Happy happy Easter.
