~ The Secret Life of Bees~

Yesterday, Lisa and I saw the best movie. The Secret Life of Bees.....it was wonderful. The story is touching and the performances are outstanding.
The movie is adapted from the novel of the same name, which by the way is an excellent read and I highly recommend it. I hope you get a chance to see the movie too. If you do.........
tuck a hanky in you handbag...I think you'll need it.

Hugs, Linda

I'm happy to hear it was an enjoyable movie. I've debated going to see it or not. Do you think it would be better to read the book before or after? Hmmm.

for those of you who have both read the book and seen the movie, which is better? Also would it be better just to see the movie, as sometimes I feel the book is better than the movie?

Glad to hear that is was a good movie, but if I need to take a hanky I think I better wait for the DVD to come out. I will stay home and cry alone with a box of kleenex!
I will see if I can find the book to read, I always like to read the book before the movie
Hugs,
Michelle
