~~Main Street~Morro Bay~~

Morro Bay is a sweet little town with a population of a little over 10,000. It has lots of neat shops and restaurants. Today we are shopping, but first we are..... having breakfast at the best little place, "The Kitty Kat Cafe".
Oh my, would you look at this Mexican Omelet. Yikes, this is enough for a family of three.....
Lisa is having the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast...heavens, who can eat this much. I must tell you both our breakfasts were delicious, ate what we could and did not have one bite of anything until dinner.
This is a view of some of the shops on Main Street. The Summer Cottage is a favorite with lots of little treasures. There is a wonderful bead store and the book store is very old world, with a lovely garden and patio you enter through their back door. Across the street are a couple of thrift stores~well actually one is a consignment store, a cute coffee shop and other neat little boutiques. We had a great time visiting them all.
I tell you , after that huge breakfast and shopping, it sure felt good to just sit for a short time. Around 2pm we headed back to the Blue Sail to relax and a few rounds of Clue....fun, fun, fun.

To be continued......have a happy weekend. Hugs, Linda

Looking forward to more of your wonderful trip.

That breakfast looks so good. I wouldn't have been able to finish it either! I probably would have needed a nap, if I did!

Hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful, Linda.

I am so glad you had a good time! The food looks great. I really loved the picture of the fish and chips in the previous post, that is a favorite. I hope one day to get back to the beach in Virginia or North Carolina. Some days it would just be nice to get out of the house. Since Mom doesn't travel, I stay home. I feel guilty going without her. Thank you for the pictures of the water, it brought back good memories of vacations from years ago.

What a great place you visited. The mugs in Kitty's are sure cute. The breakfast looks yummy, but I agree, enough to share. Wow.
At least you didn't have to stop for lunch. I would have loved to play Clue with you. Can't wait to see more.

Linda it sounds as if you had a wonderful time.

I have been having computer problems the last little while and so had to change my blog address. Blogger seems to think it needed to be Deactivated.

You will need to change the link on your blog (if you want to that is). Sorry to be such a problem.

God bless.

The town really looks like a nice place to visit. Your breakfast must have been delicious. Also, the Main Street shops and boutiques must have been fun. This is the first summer in years that we haven't gone to New England where they have wonderful little towns with quaint shops - which I love.

Hi Linda ~ Your trip looks like a lot of fun! Yummy food, too - such huge portions! I would have wanted a NAP after all of that.

Love the bag you bought at the BARN. Glad you and Carl made the trip down. There is also a new antique shop in town called Green Pea. Not far from The Barn..on Main St.

Hope all is great for you!!
