~A Beautiful Award and the "Sideboy"~

Earlier this week I received this lovely award from Sharon at Rose of Sharon. I am honored and thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. Not only does Sharon have a beautiful blog but she is a special lady with a beautiful soul. I would like to pass this award on to........ Becca at Of Bluebirds and Roses

Does anyone decorate for Saint Patrick's Day? I don't really but I do think of March as the month of green so I always put lots of green pieces on my sideboy. I love green dishes and most of these are from street fairs. I'm always looking for birds figurines and the little green birdie is a favorite of mine.
When I saw this little table runner at the peddlers fair last month I fell in love with, I thought it would the perfect touch for my dinning room table. I like it with the the ivy and carnations centerpiece and green candles.
I can't believe it but Sunday is the WX Peddlers Faire. We are expecting a sunny day so it will be a great day to poke around.......I'll be looking for little Easter things. What are your weekend plans??? Whatever you do have a great weekend . Hugs, Linda

I don't decorate for St. Patrick's day either - or for Spring or Easter for that matter. I'm just not into a lot of decoration except at Christmas.

I just heard that we might get some snow tomorrow. Hello??? Last I heard, Atlanta was still in the Deep South - what gives?

Your buffet looks so pretty with all your green depression glass. I have one St. Patty framed picture (reproduction vintage) and a small candle holder that I usually put out, but I don't think I will put it out this year since it is so close to Easter.

Have a great weekend!

I love your greeen for St. Patricks Day Linda. I have a few "green things" set out but with Easter so early and right after St. Patty's Day I'll have to take them down before the day arrives to get ready for Easter. This probably sounds terribly run on...but you know what I mean.

Love your 6 word memoir! Congratulations on your award.

Hugs, Andi

Hi Linda,
Hmmm can't say I have ever even thought to decorate for St Pat's day! Here in Australia we tend to not decorate for holidays or seasons, mostly just for Christmas and that's about all really!
I love your green glass, I collect green depression glass too, it's just gorgeous!

I don't usually decorate much for St. Patrick's Day, but I LOVE your idea about decorating with green for the month of March. It is so appropriate since green is the color of new growth and Spring comes in March. I am going to go look for some green things right now! Thanks for the idea.

I don't decorate for St. Patrick's Day but I love your green on the sideboard. That table runner is really pretty. A good find. It is still snowing here and will be till 4am they are saying. I am now stitching and knitting. No more shoveling for tonight.

Hi Linda--I love your green Depression glass on your sideboard. I don't decorate for St. Patty's but I do like to bring out the green and yellow things about this time. Also, it's my birthday month, so I tend to think of THAT as the "big holiday" of the month. ;-) I have almost finished your basket. Will be mailing it on Monday.

Good Morning Linda,
"CONGRATULATION'S" on a very well deserved Award and to the ones you passed it onto. I have never decorated for St. Patrick's Day myself. I don't even have any St. Patrick's Day Decorations. I love your Green dishes. They must be some kind of Green Depression dishes. Your little green bird is just adorable. The table runner goes very good with your center piece you have. Green is my favorite color. I hope you have a great day at the Market today and I can't wait to see what you will bring home and share with us. I posted some pictures of our girls on my post today of them out in the Snow yesterday. I took the first picture of the girls but my DH hogged the camera most of the day. LOL. We didn't get to move but we will be moving this coming weekend if the weather is nice. LOL. They way they are talking now, it should be, but you know it can always change. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
