I couldn't wait any longer, I'm having a cookie break...It's been
raining all day, perfect for baking cookies and I have a huge pot of stew cooking for dinner. Do you have plans for the weekend? Lisa and I were thinking of going to lunch and maybe a movie or a little shopping, maybe just stay in if the weather is icky. have a small collection of sugar shakers and the green one in front is my latest...I love it! Well, I have biscuits and a salad to fix for dinner so it's back to the kitchen for me...Have a happy weekend....hugs, Linda

I spoke with my brother in San Jose and he told me how dreary the day's weather has been. Your plans for dinner sound warm and cozy and I love the sugar shakers. Such a beautiful shade of green. A few more days til we move, we're down to the bare essentials! Take care.

We have been so busy this weekend. We started on our front garden this weekend. It is hard work but it is really starting to look much better. It was a garden of moss with plants struggling to stay alive. Now we have recycled what was there and neatened it all up. We created a larger path which allows us to put our bench there to be able to enjoy coffee in the evening sun. So that is what our weekend plans were...

Well the cookie sure looks good. I also have coffee and a cookie beside me right now.
Once again, we are covered in snow. We had a very heavy snowfall in a matter of hours. Schools are closed again.
I could do without this having just come home from Florida. Oh well, it is Ohio after all.
