~ January TUSAL ~

Oh my gosh. Have you ever remembered you wanted to do something and then totally forgot to do it? That was what I did. Yesterday there was a new moon and time to share our ort jar for TU SAL (Totally Useles Stitch A Long.) I'm just a tad bit late but here is my little jar...it's amazing how many little bits........ of thread it will hold, especially when I keep mooshing all the little bits down. I've been stitching little projects.........

and this is my latest little finish. "America The Beautiful" by Pine mountain. I bought this kit this past summer. On our trip home from Texas we traveled to Tulsa Oklahoma especially so I could visit the Silver Needle. This is a wonderful shop......

and I had the best time. I found so many wonderful charts and lots of goodies...I filled my basket up twice...

Not only is this shop pure paradise for a stitcher but all the ladies are so knowledgeable and most helpful....I had a wonderful time here and maybe someday I'll get another chance to visit the "Silver Needle". Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend...it's raining here, I'm having a cozy day watching the games and stitching but now it's time for a movie and popcorn....hugs, Linda

My gosh, that shop is amazing. I would probably get lost in there for hours... Our LNS closed down a few years ago. :( I have yet to find another within a reasonable traveling distance.

A lovely finish. I can only dream of visiting a store like Silver Needle. Here in Wales LNSs are few and far between and certainly nothing on that scale. I could stay in there for days!

What an adorable finish! Super cute.

I loved the pics of The Silver Needle. I am sure I'll never get there so it was good to live vicariously through your visit. :)

Thanks for sharing your trip to the Silver Needle, that has been on my wish list for some time! Keep making beautiful stitches like this America the Beautiful and that Totally Useless Container will be overflowing soon (LOL).

Your love for stitching is like mine for card/paper crafts. I can see where you would need a couple baskets shopping at that store.
Warmly,

Hi Linda, I love your finish! There's nothing better than walking into a newly-discovered, well-stocked stitching store...I had that experience last summer when I visited my parents and it rocks!

Hi Linda,
Loved the finish on your stitching and that shop!! Wow I would be in heaven. We visited Thread Bear shop in Surry when we visited my son before christmas and it was wonderful. Some of the best places I liked in Australia when we were there last year had amazing stitchy/ quilting shops. We couldn't find one when we were in Californis three years ago. If we visit US again I shall ask all you ladies over there where to go!

Happy Stitching

Great finish! The pillow is adorable. Nice seeing you shopping. Looks like a really great shop! And I love your colored parmasan...lol. I use a hand painted glass for my threads but I throw them out regularly. I just have too many.
