Blessed Are The Meek by LHN, I just love this little stitch. I've decided to set my Halloween stitching aside for now and work on this piece and several little holiday stitches.
I just finished this little freebie from the Sampler Girl. I really like the bright color in the sweet little piece and the orts really livened up my jar. This was a fun stitch and worked up quickly.
Have a good week...hugs, Linda

Both of your pieces are so nice. Heidi is after me to start stitching snowmen, but I am still knitting orders and gifts. Maybe soon I can get back to stitching.
I have to jumpers to sew for my little Zoe yet. She wears uniforms to school now. I am in the process of knitting her a uniform sweater also. No time for stitching right now.

Thank you for sharing your jar and your precious stitchery. Just beautiful!
Oh, I need to start something. My Ort jar has mostly white from mending and buttons.

Very pretty. I just love the first one,but again I love that look =)
I just bought a box of those jars to start doing spices in.
Hey Linda,
Your projects are sure sweet ~ and your ort jar looks pretty colorful. It's fun to look at all the threads and remember the projects. Happy stitching..
Great progress on your TUSAL...love the little freebie! Too cute.
I need to get busy on my projects..... I need to get unbusy and get busy with my stuff!
It is good to visit you!
Lovely stitching! I just love that little freebie from Tanya--lovely finish!
Beautiful stitching as always! I have had to start ordering my embroidery floss as well...the stores in the towns close to us, do not handle sewing supplies. Keep up the beautiful stitching. blessings,Kathleen
Yes Linda, I am after my mother to start on her snowmen. Don't you think she should start it??? LOL! I love your LHN start and Tanya's freebie. I did not know she had a new one on. I might have to consider stitching it up. Good luck on my blog giveaway. I am doing them weekly on both blogs so lots of chances to win. :-)
Hugs ~
Heidi
Lovely Linda. You do such beautiful work. Your little ort jar is so cute too. Kathi
Hi Linda,
I learned something today..orts!!
Your little freebie is lovely. Love the blue in it.
Warmly,
Deb :)
Hi Linda,
My WW tools are def handy, you're so right, it's the guess work on "diets" that is my downfall.
As for the clip/ginger beer. The program was about Enid Blyton, popular British childrens writer and her stories always talked of picnics etc with "lashings of ginger beer" which you can find out more about here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ginger_beer

Ok, I've never heard of "orts" before...what does it eat and which planet is it from???? hehe I actually had to google it and now I realize that it means a small scrap or bit of something, in your case, stitching thread!!!! See, never too old to learn a new word:-)
I so admire anyone who can sew or stitch. My poor man, who has been sewing since she was a little girl, just shakes her head at me because all I can manage with a thread and needle is hem pants! lol I just love your stitching projects, so precious. xoxo
Ahhh yes, beginning to look very pretty now. Love the new Blessings but your new blue plate has really captured by attention --- terrific find.
Blessings...looks wonderful!!!
Tanya :)
