~ Hugs From Holland ~

My mail today was exciting...there was a package all the way from Holland. Recently I won a surprise give~away from Heidi at All My Scattering Moments..... Heidi is so talented...not only is she a wonderful stitcher but she tats and quilts too. If you've never visited her I hope you do....you won't be disappointed and you will find yourself inspired by her beautiful work ......anyway, every so often she has a surprise give~away and I recently won. I love the scissor fob she made....do you see the cute little bells, I told her when they jingle I'll always think of her. Now the scissor fob was wonderful by itself but she also surprised me with a RAK...the precious stitch, Pineapples by LHN and all the wonderful floss to stitch this pretty. I've always loved this design and the sentiment that's associated with pineapples....I'm so looking forward to beginning this project....thank you Heidi....you are a sweet soul.

Ooooh, I've....

been so good....haven't been to a garage sale in months but on the way home from church I spotted one and had to stop, well not had to but wanted to, and I'm glad I did. Look...what I found.... this sweet apron someone made. It's really more a hostess apron and I love it's festive colors....

cute little pocket for a little hanky or mint.....bound in red seam binding....

with a pretty little bib.....why would someone part with this sweetie? Not to worry, I appreciate the time it took to create....it's come to a good home and I'm going to enjoy it. I also found this pretty lunch box tin,

originally it was filled with cookies. I just thought it was very pretty....

I like that it is a garden scene, there is a blue bird and can't forget the little heart.... I think I'll put some stitching items in it. Now I need to find some things for Goodiewill, my new motto "in with some out with some"....have a happy day and week....hugs, Linda

~ A Little Sharing ~

I just finished this sweet little Santa by The Prairie Schooler..... I think he is so cute. I already had the little pillow and I thought it was perfect for him. Now, I have to show you the sweetest little Cinderella doll, by Madame Alexander, my DD gave me.... you'll never guess where.........

she got her....in a Happy Meal from McDonalds. Yes, McDonalds, she is darling, I've tucked her in amongst some of my story~book dolls on my night stand and I think she is very happy there. Did you see her little crown....I have a small collection of crowns so this makes her even more special to me. Well, I'm off to do a few things before dinner...have a happy weekend.....hugs, Linda

~ Hi ~

Hi everyone, just popping in to let you know I'm still here and all is well. I've just been totally away from my computer for two weeks. The weather has been wonderful here with lots of little visitors popping in for a quick visit and a little snack....I just love watching these little hummers they are ever entertaining. My birthday has come and gone, and it was wonderful....... My ice cream pie and cupcakes are gone too....oooh, honey, this pie was delish, and weren't those the best cupcakes. Thank you for all the birthday wishes and sweet comments...I think of you as friends and never in my wildest dreams when I started blogging did I think I would be meeting such interesting , talented and friendly ladies...but did and feel very blessed to have connected with each of you and for my friends outside of blogging and my family...everyone made this past week so fun......

Lisa surprised me with birthday tea at the prettiest little tea shop in Sutter Creek....The Tea~era, what a fun name, lunch with the best girlfriends, breakfast at the airport with my honey....the very best waffles ever and lots of action too, birthday dinner at the Freeport Inn...love it there and a celebration at the Elephant Bar with our good friends Rob and Michelle....wow!
