~Touches Of Fall~

Oh my goodness...I think I spoke too soon. Summer is back! Today the temperature is to be in the 90's...but that's fine, I know the cool days will be soon return and until then I'll enjoy my little touches of Fall. I love this crystal bowl...it was my Granma's and a favorite treasure of mine. It's on our dinning room table filled with mini pumpkins and gourds. At Christmas you'll see it filled with holiday ornaments.
This golden acorn is sitting in a moonstone basket on the side-car....I think it's so neat. The doily is a flea market find. I'm always looking for hand crocheted doilies with a touch of color.....I love the fact someone made them (I always wonder why are these sweet pieces are being sold at flea markets) and I enjoy using them as seasonal accents.
Love all the mini pumpkins...too cute. Actually they are Putka Pods....I had never seen these before. They are the fruits of a tropical tree found in India. I found the pods and acorn at The Feathered Nest in Cambria.
A small bouquet of sweet smelling roses. This is the rose called Secret...my favorite...it is so fragrant....I try to always have some in the house. I especially like having a small vase full on my nightstand.

Look who I'm going to see tonight. Neil Diamond! He's preforming here tonight.

I've always loved his music and I am so looking forward to the concert.

Wishing you all a happy evening and a great weekend.....hugs, Linda

That's a cute idea for the cow bell. That dump cake looks so good. I've had that before and loved it. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
