My 2x2

Good Morning everyone. I want to share my 2x2 square for the "Pink Artist" project. An art doll is being created and the 2x2's will be used in the project. The doll will be auctioned off to benefit Susan G Komen for the Cure. For more information visit Monica. As you know I am a survivor so this project is near and dear to me.
When I think of breast cancer certain words always come to mind. Faith, believe, hope and love. I have faith and that helped me through hard times and I believe a cure will be found and hope and pray it is soon. But for my square I chose the word love. Love yourself enough to get your yearly check-up, early detection is powerful. And if you have fought or are fighting this battle the love of family and friends is a great comfort and support for which I was truly thankful for.

Have a happy weekend........Hugs, Linda

Yours is the second of these squares....do you know Michelle of I'm a Little Teapot? She did one, too.

A neat idea! Can't wait to see the finished product.

  9. Hi Linda,
So happy you have survived such an ordeal. My husband worked for Amgen, and now Genentech who both make drugs for fighting cancer. Thanks also for the reminder about mammograms. I need to get mine this year. Glad you like your little "L" initial. Have a great weekend. ~Martha

  20. Good Evening Linda,
I love your 2x2 Square. The doll is just beautiful as well and it is all going for a very good cause. I had an Aunt that died from breast cancer back in 1980. Of course technology is more advanced now. I had no idea that you were a survivor. I've never had a mammogram, but I know I need to have one. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

    Love & Hugs,
    Karen H.

I have my mammogram regularly and would also advice every woman to have one it could save your life!!
Not all breast cancers are felt, you must take the opportunity and do it!The earlier it is detected the better chance you have!
Take care ,Love from Kathyann and the girls
